Hello everyone,

I wish to thank all of my extended family and friends in Houston for their love and support over these past couple years. My mother Caroline passed away peacefully in March 2008, surrounded by her husband of 52 years and her seven children. Needless to say, my new CD project took a major back seat to this life-altering event.

It feels great to be back in Baltimore--Charm City--and to see so many friends from yesteryear!

Hi everyone...Christopher here. First of all, I want to send out a big THANK YOU to all the college and community radio music directors and deejays who supported Read On during the recent radio campaign. I am overwhelmed by how well the record was received, considering the competition from both major and indie labels out there! I wish to send out a very special THANK YOU to the following stations for placing Read On into medium-to-heavy rotation throughout the entire radio campaign: KSUA, WFCS, WIIT, KLCR, KMSU, WCRD, WGLS, WLJS, WQRI, WOUB, BearCast Radio, WGBK, WRGW, WVUD, WWPV, WRSE, WLTL and WGCC.

Read On was sent to 400 stations throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. Of the 275 stations responding thus far, the following stats were tallied:

Read On received light rotation on 180 stations, light-to-medium rotation on 29 stations, and medium-to-heavy rotation on 18 stations. More recently, Read On was added to the playlist of an additional 31 stations although no spins thus far. Furthermore, Read On charted in the CMJ Top 30 on six stations and was rejected by only 17 stations, mostly due to formatting conflicts. As an added bonus, 55 of the stations have added Read On to their permanent music library.

Christopher Wilson's Read On has been added to the playlist on Radio Fremantle 107.9FM. The station is located in Hamilton Hill, Western Australia, four kilometers from the historical City of Fremantle and approximately eighteen kilometers from the City of Perth. Comments from programmer Philip Arnold: "The presenters (DJ's) are very impressed with the level of talent and production on the CD."

Good news...Read On is obtaining more airplay in the land "down under," this time on Triple H 100.1 FM, the local community radio station for the Shire of Hornsby and the Municipality of Kuring-gai. Feedback received from DJ Michael Criddle: "What a great sound you have. I have played several of your tracks to date and plan to schedule more in future programs. Keep up the good work."

Hello everyone! Just a quick bit of news about my college radio promotional campaign for Read On. As of the week beginning 5/14/07, Read On has received light-to-medium rotation at 190 radio stations nationwide and Canada. The very same week, Read On was added to regular rotation at an additional 36 stations, while charting in the CMJ Top 30 at one additional station! We're still awaiting feedback from an additional 140 stations. Hopefully, we will hear some good news within this next month as the campaign winds down. Again, much thanks to all of you who have purchased downloads and/or copies of Read On. Every single purchase helps me to further promote the CD. Thanks to everyone who voted for Without Me during the Kcia1.com contest "Tomorrow's Hits." Christopher Wilson received 60 percent of the total vote, and the track will now be featured on future broadcasts during the month of May!

Read On debuts at #29 on the CMJ WWPV Radio Charts for the week of 5/7/07! 88.7 WWPV is a radio station at St. Michael's College, in Colchester, Vermont.

Read On debuts at #17 on the CMJ WOUB Radio Charts for the week of 4/30/07! 91.3 WOUB is a public radio broadcast from Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio.

Read On moved up three notches to #13 on the CMJ WSAM Radio 200 Charts for the week of 4/30/07! Read On also landed the #18 position in the CMJ Top 30 on WUTS, after only two weeks on the charts!

Read On is added to playlist at RADIO 0162 in Dongen, The Netherlands. Comments from DJ Paul Van Kulk: "I really enjoyed listening to your CD. Keep up doing what you're doing. Your CD has lots of airplay in my program!!"

Christopher Wilson's Read On is the #2 Add in the official CMJ Top 5 Adds at 91.3 WUTS, University of the South Radio, Sewanee, Tennessee. Stay tuned for more details!

The entire album Read On was added to the current playlist on 88.7 SOUNDWAVE FM in Napier, New Zealand. DJ Graham J. Barclay's comments about Read On: "Great feeling and conscience within all the tracks, yet each track appears to have its own identity within the lyrics and the way they are portrayed to us. My favorite track is No Such Thing. Well done."

More airplay abroad to report...this time from 94.1 FM Radio 2 in Skopje, Macedonia. Radio producer/host Vasja Ivanovski featured three tracks from Read On on his "Mojo Alt Fridays" 10pm-12pm radio show. Featured tracks that aired on the April 6, 2007 playlist: "Read On," "Opening the Lotus," and "No Such Thing."

Three songs from Read On were featured on Serge Kozlovsky's "Sunny Breeze" radio broadcast from Minsk, Republic of Belarus. Featured tracks from the March 20, 2007 playlist: "Out There Eddy," "Circle of Palms," and "Smoke and Mirrors."

Delta Air Lines has added the Christopher Wilson single How Why & When to its Boarding Music playlist, commencing February 2007 through June 2007. How Why & When was originally released on Christopher Wilson's solo debut CD East Mall Daze in 2001. The Boarding Music playlist is heard by passengers during both boarding and deplaning of all Delta flights. The entire song playlist is listed as follows by song title/artist:
